Short Walks (approximately 3 miles)
The walks take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and start at 10.30 am. Walking more slowly than people at the peak of fitness, we aim to complete in about 2 hours. This group is for those people who would like to get out into the country but who feel they may not be up to a longer walk which may take them up to more strenuous levels.
As a result we look for walks which, while not completely level (almost impossible to find in Derbyshire), have a more limited hill climbing requirement. |
