We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 10 am at New Mills Golf Club, in the Kinder Room on the right of the bar.
Our members range from fluent to "getting by" fairly well. We take it in turns to provide an article to read and translate from a variety of sources (i.e. French newspapers, the internet or even French novels) then we try to discuss in French what we have read. At our last session we read about the strike on the French Railways, discussed the pros and cons of driverless cars and then went on to think about first names and whether they affect your character. An eclectic mix!
