T'AI CHI GROUP 2
11. 45 - 12. 45 pm

A new T'ai Chi Group 2 specifically for beginners or those wishing to go right back to basics is starting on 2nd March 2023 to run on Thursdays except for the last Thursday of each month.

There will be some seated practice and the choice to remain seated or to sit down whenever that feels right.
Participants will be encouraged to work well within their comfort zone and all movement will be slow and gentle so that anyone with injuries, stiffness or limited mobility can join in fully.

The aim of these sessions is gradually to improve mobility, flexibility, balance and body awareness, and reduce tension and stress.

Jo also hopes that they will be enjoyable, relaxing and fun.
Please contact Jo for any further information or to discuss any concerns you may have.

Please note that from March 2022 no classes will be held on the last Thursday of the month.
This applies to both groups.

This low impact activity is gentle and easy and suitable for everyone.

It is a deceptively effective form of exercise based on the Sun style of T'ai Chi and Chi Gung... helping with balance, flexibility, circulation, muscle tone and general well being.

Although based on martial arts exercises, it is definitely not competitive, but feels very pleasant to practise.

If you are interested in joining our happy band, please wear easy-to-move-in clothing and flat flexible footwear and turn up at 12 noon.
