This group is intended for those of intermediate walking ability, who would enjoy a decent hike into the countryside, but of a lesser distance than that which some of the other groups might cover.

Start time will usually be around 10h00, allowing about two hours' activity before enjoying a pub or café lunch.

Conscious of our Carbon Footprint, the aim is to make use, wherever possible, of Public Transport to arrive at and depart from the assembly points – details of which will be supplied by email a couple of weeks before each event. Others may opt to car share, making their own arrangements.
